COMMUNICATION CONFLICT ESCALATION

Practical tools for Executives, HR Managers to:

The training explains in a practical way how to improve workplace communication and recognise, manage de-escalate conflicts at an early stage. It includes, among other things, knowledge on how conflicts arise and offers participants the possibility to practice with various working methods to better understand and de-escalate conflicts. In addition, it is explained how conflicts can be the cause of (long-term) incapacity for work and how this can be prevented. Furthermore, practical tools regarding case management and the Dutch law on Occupational Disability (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, WVP) are offered. Finally, it is discussed how communication and mediation tools can be used in the workplace to motivate teams and ensure connectivity among team members.

BASIC MEDIATION TRAINING

In light thereof, the added value of mediation in case of conflicts result in incapacity for work and the role of Dutch law on Occupational Disability (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, WVP) will be discussed. In addition, it is explained how mediation in the workplace can be used to motivate teams and ensure connectivity among team members. Participants will be offered the opportunity to practise recognising interaction patterns and applying intervention techniques. To conclude, the added value of mediation to organisations in the long run in terms of communication and co-operation will be discusses.
