Mission Statement
What’s your mission statement?
I recently asked to share the mission statement of Remediate Mediation. I was given exactly 1 minute for my pitch. Quite a challenge… but great fun!
Curious? Here’s my 1-minute pitch!
“Let me take you to a situation everyone will recognize. Two colleagues. The atmosphere is tense. There is frustration and miscommunication. What started as a difference of opinion has grown into a conflict that affects everything. And then mediation comes into the picture.
As a mediator, I step in when professional or employment relationships are under pressure -nationally and often internationally.
My role is simple, but powerful
I help people resolve their conflict themselves, without going to court and without a legal battle.
I help de-escalate the situation and bring people back to the table, even when they believe that is no longer possible.
My toolkit?
A strong believe in mediation combined with years of experience in both the legal profession and the corporate world. The combination of knowledge and experience creates trust, calm and a sense of safety.
The mission of Remediate is simple: to help parties find a swift, cost-effective and sustainable solution, while keeping the restoration of their relationship in mind.
So, next time you hear about an employment conflict or a business dispute, think of mediation.
Because every conflict is an opportunity.
An opportunity to choose connection over confrontation.
An opportunity not to fight, but to understand.”
