Reframing conflict
Conflict is often seen as something negative: to avoid, smooth over or ignore altogether. But what if we looked at conflict differently? What if we saw it as a gift?
Conflict signals that something in a relationship isn’t fully aligned. It reveals tension, unmet needs or unspoken expectations. It’s the indicator that something needs attention.

By listening, reflecting and addressing what’s underneath the surface, people can strengthen their collaboration and deepen trust.

We all know this isn’t easy. It requires courage from the person who speaks up. Courage, because the response is uncertain, while we all prefer to avoid risk and be liked by everyone.
Also, initiating a conversation doesn’t always bring a solution. Sometimes people are not willing or able to truly listen. Sometimes emotions run too high. In those moments, involving a professional, neutral facilitator can make all the difference.
